Balloon Guy are simply four young men, 
Mike Hill, Erik Mathison, Matt Olson 
& Scott Tretter, originally from Mahnomen 
Minnesota, who began playing together 
in 1986 in their hometown as the The Big Question.
They got their start at parties,4H meetings,
county fairs, school dances,and talent contests.
Erik and Scott ended the band when they moved 
away to attend the University of Minnesota, in 
Minneapolis, on hockey scholarships. 2 years later 
Mike and Matt followed into the big city and 
enrolled in Dunwoody Institue's drafting program.

After stints in multiple bands, the 
four reunited in January of 1994 in Balloon 
Guy. They are now racketing toward stardom 
with multiple singles; Incidentally, Boogie 
Rock, Scars, and Drug Testing, plus the
highly enjoyable Soundbull CD EP and
the full length show stopper "The West Coast
Shakes". They have also completed the soundtrack
for the upcoming NBC UFO/Drama "Dark Skies". 
Interest has been better than expected. Action 
is immanent.
